Las Vegas Natural History Museum has half a dozen fun and education exhibits. The collections include Savannah, desert life and prehistoric past.

Step into the marine life gallery of Las Vegas Natural History Museum, and you feel like you have come in to the sea itself. It has a huge collection of sharks, whales etc hanging from the ceilings and walls. The acquariums are filled with a variety of fishes and eels. The 3000 gallon live shark tank, with bamboo sharks, California stingrays and port Jackson sharks is a definite tourist attraction for travel to Las Vegas. The aquarium has added attractions in the form of Shark egg hatchery and a shark nursery.

Entering in to the Las Vegas Natural History Museum’s snake pit, you are face to face with many pythons, Anacondas etc. with some of the reptiles reaching lengths up to 25 feet.

As you move on, you come across dinosaurs in the Las Vegas Natural History Museum. Also on display are the dinosaur eggs from China.

The museum is open every day from 9 am to 4 pm. While admittance for children under two years is free, the fee is around $10.0 per person depending on certain criteria.
