A Close Look at Pinball Hall of Fame Las Vegas: Explore Its History and Mission

The Pinball Hall of Fame Las Vegas started as a museum of the Las Vegas Pinball Collectors Club in January 2006. The gallery is home to pinball machines from different eras and includes some rare collections like the Bally’s Pinball Circus, William’s Black Gold, and Recreativos Franco’s Impacto.

Located at 1610 East Tropicana Avenue, the museum has a collection of more than 206 pinball machines. The Pinball Hall of Fame Las Vegas is a non profit museum and is managed by the veteran arcade operator Tim Arnold. Tim hails from Michigan and started his love story with pinball machines in 1972. In 1990 he moved to Las Vegas and harbored the dream of opening of the Pinball Hall of Fame for over 15 years before creating the establishment.

The Pinball Hall of Fame Las Vegas has some of the craziest collections in Pinball games. The collection ranges from Ace High (1957), Big Brave (1972), Bow and Arrow by Bally (1975), and Beach Queens (1960) to games from the new era like 24 (2009), Indiana Jones (2008), Lord of the Rings (2003), and NASCAR (2006).

Although the Pinball Hall of Fame Las Vegas has been Tim’s lifelong dream, the Las Vegas community helped him realize his dream. The community poured in to help with money as well as support. Today that dream has grown into a gallery which is spread over 10,000 square feet of showcasing space. Located close to The Strip, the Pinball Hall of Fame Las Vegas has now become one of the most curious and amusing attractions of Las Vegas.
